wowza!

the story:

we started Callie on some rice cereal thinking it would help her sleep at night... she would NOT have anything to do with it after a few days. i tried it with formula, and water. ( i cant pump anything so mommy milk was not an option) i tried it in a bottle, spoon and finger. so i tried peas! she was totally discusted. so my last resort that i had in my pantry... apples and oatmeal, this was the result,

wowza!!!

i had my entertainment for the night! the apples were definatly a zinger! i think i will hold off giving her food for awhile more!

Christmas

saturday dec.22:

• made gingerbread cookies for santa!

sunday dec. 23:

• went to church in beautiful Christmas dresses.
• Sang ALLELUIA that it was our last week teaching our sunday school class! ( i am horrible)

• went to my Aunt and Uncles for dinner and to see family. Had lots of yummy soups and salads.

monday dec. 24:

• got the house ready for family to come.
• wrapped some last min. gifts
• made rolls for Higbee Christmas party.
• had a great dinner at the Higees.
• went caroling at the nursing home Marks grandma is in.
• put cookies and milk out for Santa.

• put the girls to bed, watched visions of sugar plums dancing in her head ( she really had no clue what all the excitement was about)

tuesday dec. 25:

• took jammie pictures
• made coffee cake and quiche. FYI:it doesnt have coffee in it:D
• turned up some Christmas music and enjoyed a merry christmas morning!

addie got panties! just what she asked for! (she got other things too:D)

jammin on uncle kyles ukulele........in her panties. they didnt last long. after peeing in them once, she now asks for a diaper! uggggg!

it was a merry and magical christmas,

one i hope to not forget.

the time has come!

i never thought the day would come.... but it has!!!

surprisingly enough addie is still sleeping in her crib and hasnt figured out how to climb out!

until..............last night!

darn it! last night she started crying and i was way too tired to get up AGAIN!! (callie was up all night with a fever),

so i let her cry it out. about 10 min. later i hear a wailing scream and a flailing body hit the ground and then screaming bloody murder! i thought she had broken her arm! she was fine, so i put her back to bed and soon enough 5 min later, my door creaks open! uggg! so i put the plastic round locks on the inside of her door and put her in the big bed in her room. we will see how this goes. it will have to work, i have no other options and am sick of all this bed time crap. hope your Christmas is merry and bright! ( i am cracking up!)

freezing!!!!

my daughter discovered the inside out pool in the backyard filled with rain water! immediately she was taking her clothes off and running toward the pool! it is DECEMBER!!!!

she didnt want to get out!!! it was dirty and freezing!! she loved it! i was worried she was going to get sick so i took pulled her out of the thing and dragged her inside!

reminder: empty pool!

i went upstairs for no kidding... 5 min. and came down to this! my tree!! destroyed! this side of the tree that you can see is suppose to be the back and facing the window!

dont even ask!!! i am just leaving it half decorated until christmas eve. then i will fix it all pretty and put presents underneath!

making a change

i am definitely in the worst shape of my life. i felt so nasty this morning,(after a big dinner last night at Waldos BBQ for marks bday). i was thinking... i am not loosing any weight just doing nothing, and i am not getting pregnant again until i loose weight. so, i went running this morning and actually shocked myself at how far i went. that is my new goal, to run in mornings. i need to take advantage of cool weather and mark being home more! lets hope i can shed some of nasty bulgin going on!! :D

he is the youngest of ten, so ya gotta give him a round of applause! (it amazes me that none of them look the same!)

he is the smartest person i know! thank heaven, for our children's sake! he has a 3.92 GPA, i am bragging, yes!! really i am just jealous!! he is so ambitious and is good at anything he does! and whatever he chooses to do in life, whether it be law or law enforcement, he will be great!

is a great daddy and loves and takes care of his girls so much. he has spent many nights rocking and comforting, sick sleepless girls! me included!

and has tried on many lip glosses, played tea parties, dress up, horsey, groom(addie was the bride). he is going to hate me for that!! :D

he is the best husband and is there for me every min. of the day, even if he had only 4 hours of sleep in 3 days (which has happened many of times!) i dont know what i would do without you mark! you are the best companion. we have made it through so much together and i am so glad you are mine!

and i must say.. he is very good looking!

help me... please!!!

so i need help!!! heres the deal. i need to get more sleep.i got up at 5:30 this morning. i am up with my little ones at LEAST 10 times a night! is that not ridiculous! i fed callie 4 stinkin times last night. i cant let either of them cry it out, they will wake each other up and more than likely addie will throw up. i dont want to bring callie in bed with me because we started to do that with addie and now she hates her bed. i am so desperate that i tried putting dimatap in addies milk at dinner. didnt work. i know i am horrible. also i am usually by myself at night, mark works nights,wed through sun. i just dont know what to do anymore. i am not looking for a pity party, just advise:D PLEASE help me!!!

We went to the temple lights last night and it poured. if you couldnt tell by my hair! i was soaked! addie loved it and could stay all night. we will have to go back!

this little lady has been so crabby. i think she is teething. not quite sure. she up every hour at night. during the day she wont let me put her down, napping or awake. five min. after this picture she started screaming! my poor callie.

Addie was so happy today. it was so wonderful. i think she only had one breakdown, which breaks history! :D she sang the barney song all day long. which normally i would be going in sane! but she only sings the part, " we're a happy family, great big hug, kiss". direct quote. it really makes me think, we are a happy family and i want to be a happy family. and i want HER to know we are too. we did a craft today together and made rolls and homemade turkey soup to the music of forgotten carols, on this blustery day. i really enjoyed being with her. she didnt want to turn the tv on once. which is truely amazing. our house was so peaceful and there was love here. i really had a great day.

i am a boring person and have no clue what i am going to say....



1. i need to loose 30 lbs (no joke people, you dont see me naked!!! i really do!!!)
i watched the show the biggest loser tonight and i feel sooo guilty and fat right now!!!

2. i am a cowgirl at heart and think i should have been one! i love rodeos and country music, country life. i would love to have a cow someday. and lots of land. hey... my husband already says "yawl" all the stinkin time!! :D

3. i am thinking of crafts all the time!!! i have a million started.

4. i LOVE photography. it is my passion. i dream of being good enough and comfortable enough to do it professionally someday. every thing i look at, i think of it as a picture. i love capturing life. that second of time on a picture brings floods of memories. i just LOVE it.

5. i have worn my hair in a pony tail for the majority of the last 2 years. seriously! no joke. i have like a permenant pony line! :D sad, but true!

6. i have a mole on my left arm that was huge( i got it removed but it is growing back.eww, i know!) anyway, in high school, my friends called it a rasin. and threatened me they were going to pinch it off with dental floss.... gross!! i am trying to think of ANYTHING here people!! :)

7. speaking of high school... funny story. i played volleyball and we had a tournament in payson and my boyfriend was there, my family, and grandparents. alot of people were watching and we were warming up... well i had to go to the bathroom real quick. so i ran and did my thing and came back and hit and got back in the line of my teammates to do it again, and my friend was laughing histarically at me and pulled a huge ol line of toliet paper off my shoe!! sooo imberassing! everyone saw me go up and hit with this toliet paper gliding off my shoe!!!
