we went shopping at the mall today for some clothes for me. none of mine fit. enough said. so after going to every single store and not finding anything, i was very frustrated and depressed. why is it that designers think that everyone has, or should have a body like a manican? seriously so frustrating. i went to sees candy and bought a large amount of chocolate.

i finished the quilt! and i am so pleased. this is the first quilt i have FINISHED! i absolutely love it. it is used from scraps. it is called a Chinese coin quilt. so easy. so simple. love it!

i got some quilt kits in the mail from here and here. some of my favorite shops. they will be gifts for Christmas for my little ones. cant wait to get started!

a way to beat this heat!

p.s.

i live in an oven! i am so sick of this heat. it is a bazillion degrees outside. it is making me cranky and tired. i am so hot. why do i live here again?

and.... i am sick of the traffic and detours and nonsense.i got stuck in this traffic jam on my way home from ice cream scarfing.

what should have taken me 20 min. took and hour and half. i think i am being punished.

my husband has won multiple things on the radio, movie tickets, baseball tickets, hockey tickets, CDs, tickets to concerts ( Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Sammy Hagar, ect.) and some other random stuff. he called me up this morning and told me he won tickets to see the finale of Nashville Star! yah. i was shocked! have you ever watched the show? i wasnt so crazy about it at first, but now that they have booted alot of the people i dont like, its pretty good (if you like country music). the tickets include 3 days, 2 nights, flights, and hotel! i am just hoping my mom can watch my kids! and i need to ween my 1 year old! yes i am still nursing, thats another story. shes addicted!

stuck in a rut

i have been in a rut. we all have at one time or another, right? i have been busy. but feel like im not really doing anything. i am tired. but i have so much to do, or want to do. i want to stay up and quilt and finish my vampire book! :O) so silly. but i love it. and mention it way too often. no more mentioning it, promise. i need to go to bed so i can be rested and be a happy, energetic mother tomorrow. but that quilt is calling my name!
just been down, so i will start fresh and continue on with the photo a day tomorrow.
