thanksgiving feast

papa carved the turkey

the girls drank bubbly.

callie only ate the marshmallows off the sweet potatoes.

and addie sampled a very large piece of cranberry.

the day after, i had a slice of this pumpkin pie for breakfast!

papa and a very plump walker had a good snooze.

it was a fine thanksgiving, a very fine one indeed.

i have so much to be thankful for in my life,
my husband, his job, that he has stayed safe.
my children, they are healthy and beautiful.
for knowledge of the savior and his plan.
for loving family.
for genuine friends.
these things are most important to me, but the list could go on and on.

christmas shopping

the boutique this weekend was a success and im so happy! mark was such a wonderful support to me through this. i dont know why, but these kind of things always stress me out. just putting my stuff out there for everyone to see, and hoping they like it, for some reason gives me major anxiety.

i have been wanting to make these rosette headbands for awhile now, and a few days before the boutique decided i would sell them. they sold like hot cakes! im so in love with them, the colors, how simple and sweet they are in your hair. adorable.

it felt really amazing to have friends and family come out and support me and all the other vendors. it was a really great event.

so great, that im going to vend at another boutique on Dec. 4th and 5th. come for a great holiday shopping experience. i will be making more headbands for the event and will have oodles of earrings to pick from.

its static season...

all of us girls are looking a bit like this.

feeling the crafting vibe

i have the urge to craft. it has been quite a long time since i have had that feeling, to be honest. but it feels good to put all worries and "to dos" aside and do something that makes me feel good and that lifts my spirits. so today i sewed with son on my lap, in my craft room, listening to some good tunes. just like old times.

now where did my thimble go because my finger is killin me!
