o what do you do in the summer time......

when gas is almost 5 bucks and you don't want to drive anywhere????
to be honest, i go somewhere everyday. i guess i hate being cooped up indoors and it seems to make my days go by faster. but with the way gas prices are, i cant afford it anymore. so i need to start being creative and find things to keep my kids busy, happy, and off the tv during the day. any ideas? what are doing with your kids this summer? lets help each other out and come up with some things to do with our kids! tell me,
o what do you do in the summer time?

I got the Nikon a couple weeks ago, it was such a hard decision! I think Nikons are more vibrant with light and color, and that can be bad sometimes because the photos almost look too bright. But it can be better too for certain shots. I am learning to use it, and I like it. I feel like I have to manually focus everything because it only has the 3 point focusing. What model do you have, I got the D60. Sorry I am such a nerd, I've been reading all these reviews. I love canons too though.

Hey, I don't have a clue. It is way too hot outside unless your in the pool but you can only do that so many times. I can not believe your baby is walking. What is your trick? Max won't budge and he is almost one!

Car pool? I agree on the gas thing... but what do you do? We should all get together. We need to find fun stuff to keep us cool this summer.

There are a ton of things you can print out for the kids to do. Coloring pages, letter pages. I find that helpful because then the kids get to pick the page and they are more excited to color it or complete it. The kids and I play a lot of board games(can you tell they belong to Dave?). But to be honest, I try not to stay inside becuase we don't have air conditioning. We walk to post a lot during the summer time because it is only 15 minutes away.
