i never thought the day would come.... but it has!!!
surprisingly enough addie is still sleeping in her crib and hasnt figured out how to climb out!
until..............last night!
darn it! last night she started crying and i was way too tired to get up AGAIN!! (callie was up all night with a fever),
so i let her cry it out. about 10 min. later i hear a wailing scream and a flailing body hit the ground and then screaming bloody murder! i thought she had broken her arm! she was fine, so i put her back to bed and soon enough 5 min later, my door creaks open! uggg! so i put the plastic round locks on the inside of her door and put her in the big bed in her room. we will see how this goes. it will have to work, i have no other options and am sick of all this bed time crap. hope your Christmas is merry and bright! ( i am cracking up!)

The first time Haylee got out, we heard a thud and she comes out limping and said, mommy that hurt! lol, we couldn't help but laugh, so after that I lowered the crib rail so she wouldn't hurt herself.
her crib is lowered all the way. i have just not put her into a big bed, because we tried once and she would wander the house and be downstairs. so i figured i would just wait untit she figured how to get out! so the door knob things will have to work!
I really don't like when kids learn that! Contessa was only 18 months when she figured it out. I feel for you.
Hope that day never comes for Peyton and I. Oh Addie! She just needs to sleep! When Peyton does reach that age, or strength, or height, I will put a gate on her door! We have the wrong kind of door knobs for anything else to keep her in her room. Let me know how it goes . . .
Wow, your little ones sure know how to get your attention. My kids have never crawled out of their cribs, but they did the waking up thing about 1 years old. We moved them both to their big beds at 1. But you know what's weird. They still never, to this day, get up if they wake up at night. They will sit in their bed and call for me. How weird is that????? My 7 year old will call for me in the middle of the night. Don't most kids go to the parent??? They aren't trapped or anything, weird. (-:
