Addie is potty trained, well has been for a few months! I am so relieved and glad that it wasnt as much of a struggle as i thought it would be. And surprisingly she hasnt had an accident when we are out and about,(well i take that back, once when she had the uncontrollables). She always has her accidents at home( the carpet cleaner has come out of the garage). I am glad i read through some books and talked to other moms about it first. I think that really helped to make it easier on me and her. It is so strange to see my little girl in big girl undies. This picture captures her knocking knees perfectly, they make me smile!

today i blew bubbles into this sky until my i got dizzy!

i really enjoyed this day,(other than a certain little someone who broke one of my favorite bowls!) it was relaxing, it was cool and breezy. but i kinda just relaxed a little and had fun with my girls. we all wore our comfy clothes, at some point addie had no clothes. we laughed we danced to music in the front room in dress up attire. we made cookies and i let her participate more. i held my tongue. at the end of each day, when i am putting addie to bed, she holds my cheeks and says, "i had fun with you today mama." i certainly did have fun with her today.

beautiful mess on a blustery day

crafting on this most beautiful, unusual blustery day. trying to decorate my craft/computer room at low cost. and trying to use things i already have. but i couldnt part with this little wooden plaque i found at micheals for a buck! inspired by elsie and rachel to paint it. im excited for this room to be cheery and colorful!(because i do spend a lot of time in there, crafting, sewing, gluing, surfing, editing, painting......) it is(or will be) a happy room!

i took some pics of my dear friends family the other day! i was really excited and happy how they all turned out! i get really stressed doing this kinda thing. i dont want to disapoint. but i am really happy. thanks tatum for letting me practice on your cute family!

four years

today is our anniversary! four years! in a good way, it feels like i have been married and have known mark forever. i remember this day so well. i remember kneeling across from him. i remember that comforting feeling that i made the right decision. i am so blessed! i love my husband so much!

my mothers day started off on sat. night! mark took that night off and we played the wii till 11! we have church at 8 am, mark gets off of work at 8 am. so it was so nice to be able to go to church with shaved legs and to get ready by myself without kids climbing up my legs and throwing things out of every bathroom drawer. so peaceful. we teach sunday school and i am usually out walking the halls with the little one. this sunday, mark took her out so i could just sit and relax and sing the primary songs. after we got home, mark sent me on a little hunt for my mothers day gift. i found it in the corner of the garage under a baby bath!

i was so excited! (keep in mind it is an anniversary gift also!)

i cant wait to make something with it! thanks babe!

i have decided i am going to do the photo of the day again starting in june. i am excited to get my camera out more and be more creative. see little things that i would not normally see. and capture little things around the house that will flood my mind with memories.

some braggin

Mark has graduated from ASU with his bachelors in Exercise and Wellness! I am so proud of him! He has worked full time and gone to school full time, including summer school. He amazes me! He was awarded a Senior Recognition award and got some scholarship money. if you havent got it by now... yes, i am bragging on my husband!
I am so proud of him and all his achievements. He will be taking a break for awhile from the school life. He very much deserves it!
I am looking forward to having an open summer with my husband (which we havent had since we have been married) to go on vacation, camping and to just have some family time!

i am back and feeling some what refreshed. i needed that. i needed to remember how much i can get done when i am not on the computer. so, this is my pinkie promise to myself....

( my right arm is in the air)
i, Jessica, solemnly swear, that every day here after, will only get on the computer when my children are asleep! (which isnt often)

i have many things on my mind this night. and hopefully i can get a little more done before this day is over. a word that has been constantly crossing my mind lately is : organize.
i have so much room for improvement in this area. i have gotten to the point where i just throw things back in the closet or drawers and just shut the door, knowing that my children will eventually just pull it out again to make a mess. so why organize! well it has become a disaster! but, i have kicked myself in the pants and have gotten rid of so much junk and have gotten so many organizing plastic whatcha call its! i have a few projects left and it is such a load off my shoulders!
