doing the potty training thing. sigh. i have no energy for this. but it needs to be done, and i am not buying diapers anymore. (at least for the oldest one.) we went and bought new panties, seat, and a stool. she has had 2 successes and many more not so successful times today. i am off to start some lunch and spend the rest of my day forcing fluids and running her to the bathroom. lets cross our fingers!

Oh boy, good luck! I can't believe we have to do that times two. I'll take diapers for now but I think I'll get to that point of not wanting to anymore. Again Good Luck! It'll be so worth it.
good luck with that! it's not the funnest thing to do.. but when it actually clicks and they realize what to do, they are so proud! and it feels so good to help them feel that. i'm glad i'm not the only one with hard days.. i've been grumpy for a week! haha k maybe not so long, but it seems like more then normal. maybe it's this wind.. i want sun and warmth!
At least she gets a pretty seat! ha ha I'm really wanting to start potty training so that maybe I wont have two little bums to buy diapers for! Good luck!
What a cute, cushy (I'm assuming it's cushy)! potty seat! I'm sure she'll do great! She's so smart! It will be so nice once you are over this hurdle. I don't look forward to the accidents with Peyton, and then having my little one sit on public toliets.
I think this will be okay. With Haylee it just clicked one day and then she never had an accident again. Trent was harder, but I hear that is difference in gender
Could you give me some pointers after your done? Cash is not interested at all! I dont want to push it though
Yeah I"m still working with Cody but he still wets the bed! jk. good luck.
Oh how fun is that... hmmm I have tried a couple times to get Trey used to the big boy potty but really no luck here. I don't have energy to do it either. About Marc getting a motorcycle... not a fun topic either. Michael is trying to talk me in to getting a dirt bike. Ya don't think so. Hope you are doing good!
Ah, potty training days. I remember those. You have to be very dedicated to it and make many reminders to "just try". She will ask to go while you are shopping, full cart or empty. She may not even need to go, but the excitement of a new bathroom will make her ask and you have to believe she needs to go. Be prepared to stop at every potty when you are out. She will get it and you both will be happy when it's done. Good luck.
Oh, good luck with that! My Kate is trained, but it was at times very frustrating and she had one big time regression where she refused to wear panties anymore. Until one day when Matt said, "Katie, no more diapers" and she said "Ok." And I'm like, what the heck?! I'm begging and pleading and being all happy encouraging positive mommy and your dad says one thing - and that's it - you're going to cooperate now?! I mean, I'm grateful that she's trained and all but ...
Ethan is another story. I'm aiming for him being trained by the time he's 6 or so.
By the way - one of these days I really want to get our families together. Maybe next week? I'll have the boys talk about it.
