my husband has won multiple things on the radio, movie tickets, baseball tickets, hockey tickets, CDs, tickets to concerts ( Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Sammy Hagar, ect.) and some other random stuff. he called me up this morning and told me he won tickets to see the finale of Nashville Star! yah. i was shocked! have you ever watched the show? i wasnt so crazy about it at first, but now that they have booted alot of the people i dont like, its pretty good (if you like country music). the tickets include 3 days, 2 nights, flights, and hotel! i am just hoping my mom can watch my kids! and i need to ween my 1 year old! yes i am still nursing, thats another story. shes addicted!

O my goodness that is awesome! Isn't there a limit to how many things you can win? He wins something almost every week! If your mom can't babysit I can. You have to go it will be like a 2nd honeymoon!!!
Holy cow that is so NEAT!! I swear he is so lucky. It is official. I am going to camp out at night with my radio and google and try to win some goodies. When are you guys going?

Jess, It sounds like if your husband was the gambling type (which I am sure isn't) you all would be millionaires. That is so cool! I feel like one of those complainers who says all time, "I never win anything." Well, it's true. This is a once in a lifetime experience, have a nice time.
Oh and by the way Zane nursed till he was 14 months old.
That's so exciting! I'm pretty jealous. Just a trip without the kids would be great but to get to go to Nashville star too! Have FUN!
WOW!! Sounds like fun. Maybe this is just what you need to get Addie weaned. Hudson was the same way, but when I knew we were going to New Orleans then he just had to get over it. I didn't feel like such a mean mom depriving him of it because I knew it was the best for both of us :) Call me if you need some moral support!! :)

When Matt told me the story this morning I was hoping he was going to say "Mark won tickets again but since he has won too much he said his name was Matt Harris." Unfortunately that's not what happened, but I'm so excited for you guys! How fun!!! I don't watch the show but maybe I'll start since you say it's a good one. Have so much fun! And despite what Matt said - we really would watch your kids for you if you needed us to! :) Ethan and Katie would love it! (Especially Ethan since he has a crush on Addie!)
You lucky! Im pretty sure I have never even attempted to win anything except some golf tickets and I dont golf...but I did win. Anyways Im pretty impressed! Hope it all works out. Hows the book going? I LOVE THOSE BOOKS~

Oh how fun! What a great thing to have a husband who wins random things that you also get to enjoy!! And just to let you know...my little one is still nursing as well. She loves her some milk and she is 19 months!
