dont quit

Do you ever feel overwhelmed or unvalued as a mother or woman! This is the book for you! i am now reading it for the second time! it is absolutly one of my favorites!
Anyone that is, has or will become a mother or anyone who is a woman for that matter needs to read this book!
I read a poem from the book tonight that i had to share....

DONT QUIT

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When your funds are low and debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit....
Success is failure turned inside out.
The silver tint of the coluds of doubt,
And you never can tell how colse you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit.
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Boy did i need to read that today! My darling daughter Addie is such a handful and some days i feel like i cant take anymore. Like i cant take one more day. But we have to. In the book Jane Clayson says, You matter, because "a mother is Gods work"- even on the days and nights that challange you strength and test your character, and even when the world works overtime to minimize your calling.

Hey Jessica and Mark,
We are so glad you found us on here. Your daughters are soo cute! We all need to get together in 5 weeks or so when Porter can start hanging out w/ other kids. Until then at least we can feel connected through our blogs!

Thanks Jessica, that was beautiful. I have thought about buying it (at Desert Book Lexi!) but always wondered if it was really worth the hype! It was a pretty big story here when it came out (we get Utah news).
