this was the first ginger bread house i have ever made. it was so fun and entertained us for almost two hours. we had so much fun making these little cottages. i think we have ourselves a new tradition.
its all in the details....
callies new "smile!" face. she didnt eat any dinner because of all the candy in her jolly little stomach.
a very proud addie. hers had a river, (papa said it was a slip n slide) a large mallow window on the back, and a googly eyed snowman.

so SO cute!
Those look like so much fun! That's a good idea to put foil around the plates. Maybe we will have to try that.
that last picture is sooo cute. Your girls are so beautiful. Joann's has these cute gingerbread house kits and I have been dying to make one with Peyton. How fun! We are always on the same page. So weird!
They are so cute~ (the kids and the houses). I myself have never made one and have been wanting to try. What a good activity for the kids!
Those are so cute. Jon makes one at school on Tuesday, but I told the kids we'll do these this year. That way they have their own and mini size of what we usually do. Very cute and love what everyone did to theirs. The girls look so sweet.
these are so cute! we made some at a house warming party recently and the kids have been beggin to make them at home ever since. maybe tonight for FHE... oh wait, the grocery isn't open on mondays. Maybe next week for FHE
Jess-Your parents look exactly the same!!! They are so cute! But Kevin, wow he has changed! Him and his wifey look so sweet together! I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving! I'll be in AZ for Christmas-let's get together for lunch! :)
